Along with coaching, and donating his stipend, Coach Dave has also started a Senior Scholarship Award given out to one Senior Lacrosse player. This scholarship is in the amount of $1,000 and is titled “The Eastman Scholarship”.

Logan and Parker Eastman graduated from Riverbend in 2023 and were a large part of the Lacrosse family. This scholarship is in their name because of the high standards they set for themselves on and off the field and the expectations they had for their peers.

They never missed practice, gave 100% in every drill, never complained, always took on any challenge, were excellent teammates, and were high achievers on and off the field in school and in their personal life. Their work ethic and mindset should be something we all strive for.

The 2024 senior recipient for this Scholarship is David Chicas-Hernandez!

David just started playing lacrosse this season and has quickly become a team favorite. When a season ending injury struck our goalie, David stepped in without any hesitation and has worked hard to be the best goalie he can be for this team. Congratulations, David, we wish you the best of luck in your future and look forward to the great things you will accomplish!
